Bead Societies & Associations

These are some of the Bead Socities who support the Innovative Beads Expo. You can find them participating in shows. The members graciously offer their expertise to
the general customers assisting with questions, demonstrating...anything beading!

Baltimore Bead Society

The Baltimore Bead Society meets on the second Tuesday of each month from September through June at the Howard County Center for the Arts in
Ellicott City, MD, from 6:30 to 10 pm.

Our programs and workshop classes are very interesting, informative, and enjoyable. Members have great enthusiasm for learning new techniques
in a social and fun atmosphere.

Our Winter Bead and Jewelry Show every January is our biggest annual event that showcases our members’ work in every aspect of beadwork and jewelry, in addition to many vendors and suppliers.

Visitors are welcome to join us. Come and meet us.

Bead Society of New Hampshire

We are dedicated to furthering the art of beading in a noncompetitive atmosphere.

Our monthly meetings are held on the 2nd Sunday of each month, at noon, and are open to all who are interested. Meetings feature show and tell, raffles, project demonstrations, and potluck lunch and lots of fun sharing and learning from one another!

New Jersey Bead Society

The Bead Society of New Jersey is a varied bunch of artists, numbering nearly 150 members from young women in their 20s to seniors in their 80s. All share a love of beading.

Our members comprise glass bead artists, bead stringers and designers, seed bead enthusiasts, loomers, polymer clay workers, wire workers, embellishers - all aspects of bead jewelry.

Our meetings are held monthly, with the exception of July, August and December. Membership in the Bead Society enables bead enthusiasts to participate in all scheduled activities. We alternate between hands-on workshops and guest lecturers.

Bead Society of Central New York

The Bead Society of Central New York is open to anyone with an interest in beads and beading. We share a love of creating beautiful things with beads. Membership is open to anyone with an interest in creating jewelry and art with beads.

Connecticut Bead Society

BDI Bead Designer International The New England Bead Society

Established in 1986 BDI is a non-profit organization devoted to the art, craft and history of beads and all things made with beads.

Our membership consists of bead makers, jewelry designers, collectors and generally anyone with an interest in this area of art. Members work with glass, wire, polymer clay, precious metal clay, fiber and other materials fabricating objects for personal use and sale. Our goal is to foster a fellowship through the exchange of knowlege and ideas ans to share our passion with the public.
